I've got a 2019 Range Rover Sport and for the past month, every time I turn on the AC, there's this sharp vinegar-like smell that fills the cabin. It's gotten so bad that my kids complain every single morning on the way to school. I've replaced the cabin filter twice and even tried one of those foam cleaner sprays through the vents, but the smell comes back after a day or two. I'm pretty sure there's mold or bacteria growing on the evaporator core, which apparently is a common issue on these Land Rovers because the drain tube gets clogged and water sits there. A neighbor told me to find a Sharjah Range Rover AC Workshop that actually knows how to properly clean the evaporator without removing the whole dashboard. Has anyone had this done successfully in Sharjah? I'm near Industrial Area 6, so if you know a place that uses a camera and a proper cleaning solution instead of just spraying deodorizer, please let me know. I'm desperate to get rid of this smell before it gets even worse.
