Had a supplier bail on me at the last minute for three food grade IBCs I needed for a juice concentrate trial run and now I'm scrambling to find something available for collection or quick delivery within Dubai instead of waiting for an order to come from some warehouse in another emirate. Been searching ibc tanks for sale near me on my phone between meetings and half the results are either irrelevant or lead me to companies that don't actually keep stock on hand, they just drop ship from somewhere else which doesn't help my timeline at all. Crateco came up and their location seems to be in the Sharjah area if I'm reading the site correctly, but there's nothing on the product pages that tells you whether items are in stock for immediate pickup or if you're looking at a multi day wait after placing the order. Has anyone managed to walk in and buy directly from their yard or at least get same day delivery in the Dubai Sharjah corridor, and if so is there a specific contact person who actually answers the phone or is it all email and hope for the best? Time sensitive situation here and I really don't want to explain to my production manager that we're delayed because of a tank shortage.

Never trust "in stock" on a product page, because half of them are just listings that get ordered from somewhere else. Phone them first thing in the morning and ask for a physical stock count, not an ETA. If they can't give you a number on the call, move on to the next supplier.

That's a rough spot to be in, hope you sort it out before the production manager starts asking questions. Sharjah to Dubai is a short run, so same day pickup is realistic if somebody has them on the yard. Worth sending a courier or a colleague with a van rather than waiting on delivery.

Been there with a last minute trial run. I ended up driving out to a yard in Sharjah industrial and they let me pick units off the floor the same afternoon. Calling worked, emails sat for a day. Bring cash or a card, and ask them to load it for you because those cages are awkward in a van.

Double check the page you linked, since it's the UN approved category and that isn't the same as food grade. For juice concentrate you want virgin food grade HDPE with a food safe valve gasket, ideally with a clean certificate. A UN plate alone won't tell you what the tank held before.

Do you need new or are reconditioned ones fine for the trial? That changes who has stock tomorrow. Also, are you collecting yourself, and do you know the tank's drain valve size so your transfer fittings will fit?
