Not sure if anyone else here has compared both options recently, but I’ve been thinking about this after something that happened to me earlier this week. My car battery suddenly died before work and I honestly panicked because I already had a meeting I couldn’t miss. Normally I would call a towing company and take the car to a garage, but a friend told me that mobile battery replacement services are becoming more common around Sharjah now. I always assumed they would charge way more because they come directly to your location, so I never even considered trying one before. While searching online from my phone, I ended up checking a few reviews and discussions where people said to read more here before deciding because some services apparently include installation and testing in the same price. That actually surprised me because I thought there would be extra hidden charges for everything. In my case the technician arrived in less than an hour and changed the battery right outside my apartment building while I was getting ready for work. The experience was honestly smoother than I expected and it saved me from wasting half my day sitting in a workshop waiting room. Still, I’m curious how others here feel about these mobile services long term. Do you think they’re reliable enough to depend on regularly or is it still safer to buy batteries directly from a garage? Part of me feels more comfortable seeing everything done in front of me instead of leaving the car somewhere, but another part wonders if the prices are slightly higher because of convenience. I guess I’m just trying to understand whether this is becoming the normal way people handle battery problems now or if I simply got lucky with one decent experience.
